شهدت الهند موجة كبيرة من الغضب والجدل عقب التصريحات التي أدلى بها اليوتيوبر الشهير رانفير ألاهباديا، المعروف باسم BeerBiceps، خلال ظهوره في برنامج الكوميديا على يوتيوب "India’s Got Latent".
في الحلقة التي عُرضت بتاريخ 10 فبراير 2025، طرح ألاهباديا على أحد المتسابقين سؤالًا وصفه كثيرون بأنه "مسيء وغير لائق"، حيث قال:
"هل تفضل مشاهدة والديك يمارسان الجنس كل يوم لبقية حياتك، أم أن تشارك لمرة واحدة لإنهاء الأمر إلى الأبد؟"
أثار هذا التعليق ردود فعل غاضبة على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث طالب العديد من المستخدمين بمحاسبته، فيما انتقده شخصيات عامة وسياسيون في الهند، معتبرين أن هذه التصريحات تروج لمحتوى غير أخلاقي ولا يتناسب مع القيم المجتمعية.
عقب تصاعد الجدل، تم تقديم عدة شكاوى قانونية ضد ألاهباديا ومقدم البرنامج سماي راينا، مما دفع السلطات الهندية إلى فتح تحقيق رسمي في الأمر. كما وصل النقاش إلى البرلمان الهندي، حيث دعا بعض المشرعين إلى وضع قوانين أكثر صرامة بشأن محتوى وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي وتنظيم منصات البث الإلكتروني.

In an episode aired on February 10, 2025, Allahbadia posed a question to a contestant that many deemed "offensive and inappropriate." He asked:
"Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?"
This comment sparked outrage on social media, with users demanding accountability. Public figures and politicians in India also condemned the remarks, arguing that such content promotes unethical discussions that do not align with societal values.
As the controversy escalated, multiple legal complaints were filed against both Allahbadia and the show's host, Samay Raina. This led to an official investigation by Indian authorities. The issue even reached the Indian Parliament, where some lawmakers called for stricter regulations on social media content and online streaming platforms.
In response to the backlash, Allahbadia issued a public apology on his platforms, expressing regret for his words. Meanwhile, Raina removed all related content from his YouTube channel and stated his full cooperation with authorities.
